Buy all four seasons for the price of three here! Stardew Valley Collection
These socks are inspired by the Spring season of Stardew Valley, featuring a mountain landscape with pink spring trees and crops (strawberries, parsnips, blue jazz and tulips). Please note this is to purchase the pattern to knit the socks, not the socks themselves. Due to the nature of digital downloads, I cannot offer refunds.
This pattern is also on Ravelry. Pattern has been tech edited - thank you to my tech editor, Heather Storta!

Construction
These socks are knit cuff-down and the pattern includes 4 sizes. There is stranded colorwork all over the leg and foot, a short row heel, and a toe finished with grafting. Note that there are a few rounds where you’ll need to hold 3 colors at once. You can choose to add the 3rd color after the sock is finished using duplicate stitch.
Sizes
Small (Medium, Large, X-Large)
Finished foot circumference: 7.5 (8.5, 9.5, 10.5)” / 19 (21.5, 24, 26.5) cm
Choose a foot circumference size with 0.5-0” / 1.25-0 cm negative ease. Calf shaping is included.
Gauge
30 sts and 33 rnds = 4” in st st colorwork (in the round) on larger needles
Materials
- US size 1 / 2.25 mm (for cuff) - 32” circular or longer for magic loop or DPNs or 9” circular (as preferred), or one size smaller than gauge needles (for ribbing).
- US size 1.5 / 2.50 mm - 32” circular or longer for magic loop or DPNs or 9” circular (as preferred), or size needed to obtain gauge for colorwork.
- Stitch marker
- Yarn needle
Yarn
KnitPicks Palette, 231 yds / 50g, 100% Peruvian Highland Wool. 1 ball of each color is enough to make all 4 seasons.
Note on yarn: I used Palette due to its wide color range, but note that it doesn’t contain any nylon. So these are not meant to be hard-wearing socks but instead “keep your feet cozy while you lay in bed knitting more socks” type of socks! If you plan on heavy usage, you might want to sub in a yarn that contains nylon (though I've never had any knitter who made these socks with Palette tell me they've had a problem with the yarn!) Palette makes a pretty hefty sock though compared to regular sock yarn so if you sub regular sock yarn I highly recommending going up a size, or at least be super sure you are obtaining gauge with your needle size.
Color List
The complete color list is below for all 4 seasons. Many yarns are used for more than one season, so keep this in mind if you decide to substitute. 1 ball each is enough to make all 4 seasons.
