Digital knitting pattern (pdf download) - this product listing is for a pdf pattern you can use to knit your own finished item with. It does not include the physical item itself.

This is one of a set of very easy sock patterns part of the Vanilla Sundae Sock Set! These patterns are meant for times when you want a mostly mindless knitting project you can pick up and put down easily, but also want something a little more interesting than a plain vanilla sock - hence, the "Vanilla Sundae" name. All 6 patterns are also available together in an ebook for the best total price! The ebook also comes with a bonus vanilla sock making guide written for both cuff-down and toe up constructions, an expanded 12 sizes, guidance on how to adjust sizing for your own stitch and round gauge, as well as plenty of other tips so that you can create handknit socks you will actually wear! I hope you enjoy these sock patterns, and happy knitting!

These are cheerful shorty socks with rolled cuff and heel tab, and optional embroidery decoration. These socks will work up in no time, and are named after the dessert that the bright colors resemble. Because the cuff is worked at a smaller stitch count and optionally a smaller needle size, they fit great around the ankle! (Honestly, this is the best fitting sock I've ever made for myself. It doesn’t slide around AT ALL.) Includes 3 child sizes and 4 adult sizes.

Please note this is to purchase the pattern to knit the socks, not the socks themselves. Due to the nature of digital downloads, I cannot offer refunds.

This pattern is also on Ravelry. Pattern has been tech edited and test knitted - thank you to my tech editor, Heather Storta, and my test knitters! Thank you to Bella @ www.bee-creates.com for the wonderful illustrations!

Construction

These socks are knit cuff-down, starting with a stockinette cuff. A heel tab is created with short rows, and then the cuff is folded over and knit together. It has a heel flap and gusset, and a stockinette foot. The sock is finished with flowers using embroidery - add just a few flowers or cover the sock in them! It is your choice and you can let your creativity shine with this canvas. Or leave them out entirely, and this simple sock will work just as well.
